Today I got to the end of the chapter in my revision textbook on standing committees in the House and Senate, and once I had read all 34 pages, I flipped back to read it again and not because I needed to for the exam but just because I enjoyed it so much the first time.

It doesn’t matter how many times I memorise the dictionary definition or research relevant examples, the term ‘Judicial Review’ will always make me nervous.
And Marbury v. Madison is still my least favourite court case.
My favourites, if you’re interested are Plessy v. Ferguson, Lawrence v. Texas, Roe v. Wade and of course, Gibbons v. Ogden.
